AT A STATED MEETING OF THE GOSPORT LODGE #92 ON MAY 04, 2005 AND ADOPTED AT THE STATED MEETING ON JUNE 01, 2005

HISTORICAL

1ST DISPENSATION DATED FEBRUARY 28, 1849.
1st BY-LAWS APPROVED BY GRAND LODGE FEBRUARY 28, 1849.
1ST MEETING HELD UNDER DISPENSATION WAS ON FRIDAY EVENING, MARCH 23 1849.
AT THIS MEETING THE DISPENSATION WAS READ AND RECORCDED.
ALSO THE BI-LAWS WERE READ AND ADOPTED.




1ST LODGE ROOM
WAS IN THE BUILDING JUST EAST OF THE TOWN PARL, ON THE CORNER OF MAIN AND 3RD STREET.
2ND LODGE ROOM
WAS IN A BRICK BUILDING WHICH STOOD JUST WEST OF WHERE ERRETT F. GRAY NOW LIVES ON THE WEST SIDE OF TOWN.
3RD LODGE ROOM

WAS IN A BULIDING OVER THE METHODIST CHURCH, ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE PRESENT METHODIST CHURCH.
4TH LODGE ROOM
WAS IN A ROOM BUILT OVER THE OLD BEE HIVE STORE AND THE DR. JERRY WOODEN DRUG STORE, THE PROPERTY NOW OWNED BY THE LODGE.
And WAS EXTENED ALONG SOUTH 4TH STREET NORTH TO MAIN STREET. BUILT IN 1870.
DESTROYED BY FIRE ON NOV. 30TH 1919.

THE PRESENT BUILDING WAS DEDICATED JUNE 17TH 1924.
